Really, really busy… but still here. As one of my most recent posts stated (some months ago)… it was not that I ran out of things to say, but rather that I had too much to say! I still feel that way… but I see clearer days ahead, and fresh thoughts for blog posts beginning to flow again.
My novel — Goodnight Sunshine — should be ready soon. Hopefully this spring, at long last. What a process… such a layered and wonderful and exasperating process. I don’t profess to be Hemingway, but I’m doing the best I can to be me. Baby steps… learning as I go… inspired by many, and hopeful that I might inspire a few. I am already starting my second novel — at least in my head — as I demand of myself the discipline required to finish my first. Three years into this new journey, I have embraced the notion that I am an author!
But for now, I tend to the busyness of daily life… inching forward on many fronts… hoping to return to this place–one of my most important creative outlets–soon.
Nice to c you’re still there or here or at the bakery. I must admit to a strange desire to tickle your head with a feather duster today when you were meeting chad? It would have been hilarious from his perspective. Unfortunately no feather duster and figured the broom was a little much. Strange message I know but then hey that’s the way it goes…..

My bald spot must have been inviting the feather! Strange message indeed, but I take any feedback I can get! And hey, thanks for the awesome part-time office (with great food to boot!).
